With this code of conduct we set guidelines and expectations that outline the behavior and responsibilities of individuals within our community. It serves as a framework to ensure that everyone adheres to acceptable standards, fostering an environment of respect, integrity, and accountability.

We are equal members and contributors to this space. Together, we create this space through our communication and presence. We are all responsible for taking positive action against harassment and abuse.

We are here to (re)connect

You are in a community space designed for and by people. We are building this space to practice sharing resources (as opposed to private ownership), to reconnect, to share a common purpose, create projects together, and enjoy being together. We welcome joy and play

We recognize that a regenerative day includes a balance of work, learning, play, dancing, reflection, and silence. All of this is welcome here. Please have fun and enjoy yourself. 🍀

We respect and honour diversity

We intentionally invite people from diverse backgrounds and are committed to supporting social diversity and cultural sensitivity. We continuously learn about our differences and potential barriers, such as language, technical knowledge, and physical or non-physical challenges. We choose curiosity and openness over judgment.

We communicate gently and effectively

Your voice is welcome. Your perspective is valued. Your interests are interesting. The best way to give and receive value is by participating. However, we do not tolerate raised voices, personal attacks, blame, or shame. We ask everyone to reflect on how they share their messages.

We discuss concerns and questions

We are a community of people, and human interactions can be messy at times. If you feel uncomfortable or uncertain, please identify your concerns. We address tensions together, recognizing all serious concerns, strengthening the community, and aiming to resolve conflicts inclusively. A team of stewards is always available to help with any issues that arise.
