Notes:
-
Valuable:
- People and community, it’s not a sharky place
- Jana brings a lot of connection
- Price is good
- Involvement in decision making
- Part of something bigger
- Family vibes, people take care of each other, try to help each other
- You get challenged on what you do, you learn
-
Valuable & Challenging
- Commons
- Permissionless innovation (it’s both valuable & challenging)
-
Challenging
- Staying up to date, if you don’t read discord it’s difficult
- When away it’s difficult to read everything, also not the newsletter
- Difficult to stay up-to-date if not proactive
- Time management, because we also need to attend to our own business, we feel obliged to pull our weight
- Boundaries, mental space what doing for CHB and for our own
- Organic organization, you need to take the time to wrap around how it works, what the essence is, there is no clear resource of who does what
- What are the business priorities of the CHB, how do we keep it all afloat
- Token allocation is tough! Also what you can spend them on, it’s still very fuzzy
- Our responsibilities, it’s not always totally clear
- Doorbell can be distracting, you do feel responsible seeing sometimes the outside situation, how responsible am I for this?
- A lot changes, sometimes difficult to keep track
- Sometimes I feel I need to chase people (eg to get my tokens)
- Onboarding is still not going great for me, maybe we need a kit
4. Agreement & Understanding: 25/10 Crowdsourcing (20 min) 1405
- Prompt: “What improvements or clarifications would make membership more rewarding and sustainable for all?”
