1. NEVER PLUG OR UNPLUG CABLES WHEN SPEAKERS ARE TURNED ON.
  2. Keep microphones clear from speakers. Pass behind or at 2 meters.
  3. Read, and chatgpt. Chatgpt is actually great at this stuff. Just take a pic on the fly and ask. Its that simple!

Sound Equipment Basics (unfold rationale below):

List of Systems and how to tame them :

A - Pyle Dual Speakers in Ostrom

There are two speakers, Looking at the windows, the one on your RIGHT is the only one to touch! Closeby all the AV stuff, table, screen and shelves.

The main speaker of the 2 acts as a mixing table

There is one cable out going to the second speaker (on the left, looking towards windows)

and the 2 other cables are for each of the mic receptors (2 Madona/pin + 1 Handheld)

MUSIC

Click on source as in picture 2. Until it shows bluetooth (picture 3), then from your device, select the PYLE SPEAKER, and pair! You can then play music / video with ease.

—> Speakers on both floors have by default the same name: Change it on your device!

—> If it shows connected : someone around must already have a link! Either find the treator, or just circle through modes again to force disconnect them

Run through the options quickly and at low volume (knob on the right) The radio can be annoying.

SPEAKING

make sure Cables are connected before turning it on.

Check

—> ECHO is at position 0, —> treble in the middle at 12 o’clock —> bass more or less in the middle. BOTH on mics receptors and on the speaker.

—> tiny switch Line / mic. You want mic

The knob on the left “Mic gain” controls the volume of the microphones. It has POWER.

PHOTOS FROM RECEPTORS ARE MISSING. THEY ARE NECESSARY

VOLUME

—> Keep microphones clear from speakers. Pass behind or at 2 meters.

—> do yourself a favour and never put above 25%.

Crank up the volume on the receptor of the weakest mic / speaker to be on the MAX. (1 speaker = always max)

Adjust the rest to same perceived audio level. Then mic gain very slowly to desired level.

You can control the sound of the music through your phone (so its good to take a middle level by default to give yourself wiggle room in both direction)

For the microphones volume : you will need access to the mixing table (the Speaker yes)

Main Handheld QA Mic - 1 microphone, linked to its receptor
